I like this book because it was more realistic than most fairy books. I mean, if a fairy got her wings bitten off, the author probably won't describe the scabs. And the pain. And the tears. This book was awesome.
The Night Fairy by Laura Amy Schlitz
Really liked this one because Flory is a strong "female" lead character. The illustrations were supported but not overwhelming. Violent though!
