I wasn't expecting much from this book, because I hadn't really heard much. But, the writing is so delightful. The author's talk to the reader about the story as well as about storytelling in general. We meet quite a few characters with the most distinct being The King and The Zagabog.
The plot itself is a retelling of a known story so, I wonder if that affects the originality.
