  1. I found this one the weakest of the 3 in the series and was ultimately disappointed. Not a consideration for the Newbery, but even as a stand-alone, I don't think this one stands out.

I didnt really get into it until i think....well i cant say right now, because i'd get yelled at for spoilers :) but its good after that it'll be worth it if you keep reading. not as good as some others on the list, so if you dont have a lot of time, dont feel like you HAVE to read it, but you should sometime. because you will like it even if it doesnt win the Newbery.

  3. I thought the conclusion to the Hunger Games trilogy felt satisfying, although it was weak. It's no Newbery winner in the making, but still worth reading if you enjoy the series.
