  1. This was a fun read that I will recommend to fans of Savvy and also to girls and boys who enjoy fantasy. It's a little harder to get into than Savvy was but it's still worth it, once you get past the 1st couple of chapters. A sympathetic protagonist and cool characters. Worthwhile reading. Is it Newbery worthy? Hmm....

  3. I agree with Kris that it took a little bit to get into, but was I did, I was hooked. I really enjoyed Ledger and watching him learn to Scumble his savvy.
